The year 2016 will be remembered in part for Samsung's hasty recall of the Galaxy Note 7., which caught fire and exploded without giving a warning to its owners. After an attempt to repair the devices, replacing its battery, the South Korean company had to withdraw the terminal from the market, returning the money to all its buyers.
At the moment we do not know for sure the reason why the Galaxy Note 7 caught fire and exploded, although Samsung is working on drawing conclusions about its great failure of the year. Other companies have also wanted to comment, and in the last few hours Instrumental, a company specialized in manufacturing processes has offered us its own conclusions.
A too large battery could be the cause of the problems of what was called to be the great competitor of the iPhone 7 Plus, and which Samsung got ahead of itself with a hasty launch. According to Instrumental the South Korean company the battery was too big and they also tried to use other standards than the usual ones.
“A smaller battery using standard manufacturing parameters would have solved the problem. But a smaller battery would have reduced the autonomy of the phone below its predecessor the Note 7, as well as its big competitor, the 7 iPhone Plus"
In addition, in its Instrumental report, it suggests that if Samsung had followed the usual testing procedures, external to the company, they would have detected the problem earlier, managing to avoid problems with the battery. Of course, in that case they may not have been able to anticipate the launch of the new iPhone 7, which they wanted to dethrone in the market and they have only managed to do it a great favor.
Do you think that one day we will know the real reasons for the explosions and fires of the Galaxy Note 7?.
The headline is a complete nonsense. It is a mere assumption denied in addition in the middle of the article. Another example of the journalistic intrusion so abundant in these times.
