The Xiaomi Mi 8 will have the fingerprint sensor under the screen

The first smartphone to hit the market with the sensor under the screen was neither Apple nor Samsung. In fact, neither company it seems that he plans to implement it in the short term. Apple has ruled it out completely and according to various rumors, the Galaxy Note 10 could be the first terminal to integrate the fingerprint manager under the screen, although it is not entirely clear.

The first terminal that integrated the fingerprint sensor under the screen was the I live X20, a terminal from the Asian manufacturer Vivo that has become a example to be followed by manufacturers who continue to bet on this technology. As we can see in the video that has been leaked from the Xiaomi Mi 8, this will be the next terminal to hit the market with the fingerprint sensor under the screen.

The top video has been leaked through the Chinese social network Weibo and does not reveal much of the user interface. What it does show us is how, by straining your finger on the screen, the terminal unlocks and allows us to access the applications. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is the successor to the Mi 6, since apparently the Mi 7 has been skipped. This new Xiaomi terminal, which will be presented almost entirely on May 31, will integrate an unlocking system similar to that found in most devices: facial unlocking.

Inside, if we ignore the rumors, we will find the processor Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage. 8 GB versions with 128, 256 and 512 GB of storage will also be available. The battery will be 4.000 mAh compatible with fast charging. This terminal will be the first to receive the MIUI 9 customization layer, the next version that in a few months will be receiving all the terminals that Xiaomi plans to update.

That kind of innovation all manufacturers need to do, the fingerprint reader makes it very easy, the face id or the iris still does not make me effective.
