Acer introduces its first convertible 15-inch Chromebook

Conforma has been evolving computing and technology in general, manufacturers have tried to adopt it as best as possible so that users have at their disposal different options to meet your needs. Convertible laptops, those that allow us to rotate the screen 360 degrees quickly turning the device into a touch tablet, are being more in demand by users.

In the market we can find different models of this type, most of them at a very high price, due to the benefits that Windows needs when it comes to moving freely. However, on computers managed by ChromeOS, Google's operating system for laptops, the requirements are much lower, so its price is reduced considerably. Acer has just introduced two new Chromebooks that we detail below.

Acer Chromebook 15

With a 15,6-inch Full HD screen (with touch screen model CB315-1HT or non-touch screen model CB315-1H), Acer put at our disposal a laptop managed by ChromeOS, so we have at our disposal a wide range of applications and games that are available in the Google Play Store.

This range is available with 3 different processors: Quad-core Pentium N4200, Dual-core Intel Celeron N3350, or Quad-core Intel Celeron N3450. In terms of connections, the Acer Chromebook 15 range offers us a Wi-Fi 802.ac 2 × 2 MIMO connection, two USB 3.1 type C ports and two USB 3.0 ports.

Acer Chromebook 15 range will hit the market in June from 399 euros.

Acer Chromebook 15 Spin

The Acer convertible with ChromeOS, offers us a screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), with IPS technology that offers us wide viewing angles and multitouch (up to 10 fingers simultaneously). 360 degree hinges allows us to rotate the screen 360 degrees to be able to turn the laptop into a tablet and thus be able to comfortably access our social networks, email accounts ... The negative point, we find it in the weight of the set, since it rises up to 2.1 kilograms, which makes it not very comfortable when used as a tablet without a point of support for.

The battery of this device reaches 13 hours of use. Regarding the management of ChromeOS, Acer offers us within the Spin 3 processors range: Intel Pentium N4200 quad-core, Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core or Intel Celeron N3450 quad-core. This model is available in 4 and 8 GB of RAM and in two storage versions: 32 and 64 GB.

Acer Chromebook 15 Spin range to hit the market in June from 499 euros.
