iPhone8

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), follow all their presentations at a good pace and, without practically letting us breathe, they begin to heat up the atmosphere in their Keynote with the presentation of the new iPhone 8 y 8 Plus, two terminals loaded with news although, as you can see in the image in the header of this same post, have an identical design to the iPhone 7 and 7 PlusDespite the name change, something that many potential buyers of this new terminal will surely not like.

Although at first glance the changes in design seem very few, the truth is that this new generation of the iPhone has a back made of glass. Even so, and despite this novelty, it seems that the American company does not want to innovate too much in terms of colors and will continue to be available in typical silver, space gray and gold colors.

Going into a little more detail and to calm many followers, it seems that Apple had very studied the possible reactions to the use of glass for the back of its terminal, it has just been announced that the device has been equipped with the toughest glass on the market. Even so, a whole series of engineering resources has had to be developed to ensure that the iPhone 8 remains Waterproof.

As for the front of the device, finally this very specific model will have a new retina HD True Tone display that will be surrounded by speakers both on top and bottom which, according to the US company itself, are 25% more powerful than those installed in the previous generation.

A11 Bionic

A11 Bionic, a 25% faster processor and up to 75% more efficient compared to the A10 processor used in the iPhone 7

Moving on to the hardware level, as is customary, we find a new chip, a processor that has been baptized for the occasion as A11 Bionic and that, thanks to having 6 cores, it is capable of being nothing less than a 25% faster and up to 75% more efficient than the A10 processor used by the iPhone 7. As already rumored, finally the terminal will have 3 GB of RAM, something that does not change with respect to the outgoing model.

Another aspect where Apple engineers have been working has been in the development of a new camera for both versions of iPhone 8. Both terminals, either the normal or Plus model, will have a completely new sensor, fully calibrated to be used with virtual reality, whose main novelty is the achievement of some photos with less noise, something that will help to get much sharper shots and especially more professional looking.

Finally, it is confirmed, in turn, one of the great rumors of all these months and is that after a long wait and although much of the competition already has this feature, the wireless charging It reaches both the iPhone 8 and its Plus version, something that, as has been confirmed, due to hardware limitations and its design, had not been able to implement until now.

The arrival of Face ID to the new iPhone is confirmed

At the software level, the first rumors are confirmed and finally this peculiar version of the iPhone will have Face ID, a system capable of recognizing our face even if we wear glasses, a hat and even if we have a different appearance due to the fact that we grow long hair, for example.

Returning to the camera, it will have a software update that will offer us the opportunity to enjoy a new portrait mode fully updated and even the possibility of record in 4k at 60 fps, and in 1080 at 240 fps. This is due, in addition to the new software, to the great power and capacity when processing images offered by the processor developed by the American company.

If you are interested in getting an iPhone 8 or its variant with a larger screen diameter, the iPhone 8 Plus, tell you that, as has been announced, the price once they reach the market will start from U.S. dollar 699 for the smallest version of the device and the U.S. dollar 799 for the larger version. Reservations can be made from September 15 while the first terminals will be delivered to their owners from September 22. iOS 11 will be available from September 19.
