China announces it has lost control over its space station and it will fall on Earth in 2017

Apparently, as was just announced just a few hours ago from China, after numerous attempts to regain control of its space station Tiangong-1have finally decided to give up and announce that, sometime in 2017 it will fall on Earth confirming what some experts in the field had predicted for several months and that it was nothing other than China had lost control of its space station.

According to the statement offered by the Chinese Space Agency on this matter, it is finally confirmed that the Tiangong-1 has entered what is known as'decay orbit', that is, the space station is literally decreasing its orbit gradually as it is pulled by Earth's gravity. The troubling part of this whole thing is that, sadly, it is only known that sometime in 2017 it must fall on Earth although it is not known when or where.

Although not confirmed, China appears to have lost all control over its space station.

Going back to the history of Tiangong-1, we have to talk about a project that was to be put into orbit in 2010 although, due to various problems, its launch was finally postponed until September 2011. This space station was supposed to remain in orbit until 2013 although finally more than double the expected. As a detail, tell you that in 2013 and following the initial plan all the astronauts received the hate to return home, since then the Chinese space station has remained inactive.

Like many of the objects that are sent into space, once they have done their job, they are programmed to decrease their orbits in a controlled way in order to be sure that they either fall in the middle of the ocean or disintegrate in the atmosphere. . This is not the case of the Tiangong-1 since China does not know when the space station will enter our planet so it is literally impossible to know the place of the possible impact.
