The guys at Redmond for that are not just focusing on their mobile smartphone division to try to gain a foothold in the market, but also are taking into account emerging markets where the use of smartphones is still a utopia. Microsoft has just presented the Nokia 216 Dual SIM, a terminal like those of yesteryear, but with modern specifications offering us a battery life of up to 24 days. This new terminal has a very similar appearance to the Nokia that populated the earth some time ago, in which we can see a very clean design, small size and pastel tones in the cases.

The Nokia 216 offers us a 2,4-inch screen with QVGA resolution, a front and rear camera of 0,3 mpx. This device only operates on 2.5G networks and is intended for emerging markets, offering us up to 24 days of waiting and up to 18 hours of conversation. This device integrates an FM tuner and dual SIM. It runs the 30+ series, and is managed by 16MB of RAM. Despite being a classic device, it has the Opera Mini Browser in addition to including the typical applications of alarm, clock, calendar, calculator, notes, flashlight among other functions.

The Nokia 216 can store up to 2000 contacts and also allows us to expand the storage space up to 32 GB. It will be available in black, gray and blue and has dimensions of 118x50x13.5 mm with a weight of 83 grams. If users want to share the content of their devices with others, they will have to do it through the bluetooth connection. The Nokia 216 will be launched in India in October for just over 30 euros.
