Tim Cook recalled that some 30 years ago, Steve Jobs introduced the first Macintosh computer to the world, a product that changed the way we view computing at the home level, so 30 years later they have new products to teach us.
Last year two iPhone models were shown, something that happened for the first time in Apple's history and this year they repeat with a new model that is exactly the same that has been leaked during all these months. This is the iPhone 6 according to Tim Cook, the most advanced device of all time in the history of Apple.
What's new about this iPhone 6? The first protagonist is your screen, a new generation of Retina Display which lands on a model with a 4,7-inch diagonal and another with a 5,5-inch screen. In addition to the increased screen, this Retina Display HD offers a color gamut close to sRGB, a very thin backlight system and a reinforced glass.
The new models of the iPhone 6 are very thin, specifically, 6,9 mm for the 4,6-inch and 7,1-millimeter model in the case of the iPhone Plus, a name used by Apple for the iPhone 6 model with a 5,5-inch screen.
In the case of the iPhone 6 Plus, it can also be used in landscape mode and the iOS interface will adapt to this new orientation. In short, this iPhone 6 promises power but above all, higher energy efficiency so that their autonomy is not as penalized as up to now. The iPhone 6 will offer 14 hours of autonomy in conversation under 3G, 10 days on standby and 11 hours playing video. In the case of the iPhone 6 Plus, its larger size allows greater autonomy, reaching 14 hours of talk time, 16 days of standby and 14 hours of video playback.
As for the photographic section, the rear camera is still 8 megapixels And it offers the True Tone LED flash, you know, with two different shades to achieve more natural colors when we use it in low light conditions.
The size of the pixels of the sensor increases its size and the lens remains at an aperture of f / 2.2, in short, sensor quality has been improved to get better pictures. In addition to the above, Focus Pixels technology has been introduced to detect whether an object is in or out of phase.
It also premieres optical image stabilization system and noise reduction technology for those photos where lighting is scarce. Lastly, the panoramic mode is now capable of taking pictures up to 43 megapixels.
As for the video, the iPhone 6 is capable of recording video at 1080p and 60fps or if we want the slow motion mode, now we get a rate of 240fps to achieve a really incredible result.
Availability and prices of the iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 will be available in versions of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB for the prices you see in the image, although these have been associated with a two-year stay with the operator.
