VAIO, as many of you will know, was Sony's high-end laptop division. Unfortunately, Sony decided to abandon the market, and it was a shame for many users like me, that we were really fascinated by the design and performance of these laptops that became an object of desire, but which was not accompanied by the price. However, the VAIO brand continued to operate independently of Sony, and they have introduced the VAIO C15, a laptop with the hallmarks of the company and a rather peculiar range of colors. These are the features and news of the VAIO C15.

We cannot fail to mention that the C15 automatically evokes us the legendary Citroën van. Joking aside, the Vaio C15 will offer a series of settings, starting with a 15,5-inch panel at 1366 × 768 resolution, quite modest in reality. However, it will also have a version with a FullHD panel, which is still not the most powerful on the market, but offers quality results (The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air offers 2K). Regarding RAM, the configuration will vary between 4GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM, It depends on our tastes (although as always we can expand), and the processors, also below, from the low-power Intel Celeron 3215U to the well-known Intel I3.

The screen will have antiglare protection to avoid reflections, something that has always characterized VAIO. In addition, it includes a subwoofer in the rear to improve bass sounds. The trackpad also includes two buttons, it is not only touch. On the other hand, the keyboard is complete and includes a numeric keypad. It will include a DVD reader, which will not have the possibility of recording them, a port Ethernet, another HDMI and various USB 3.0. As for storage, from 500GB to 1TB. VAIO will offer the PC with Windows 7 or Windows 10, our choice, and with a version of Office. Meanwhile, we do not know if it will leave Japan, although everything indicates that it will, at low prices.

Well, I was delighted with a VAIO that I bought back in 2008, and it didn't cost me cheap, almost € 1500. He used it for work and hardly played games with him. But after 4 and a half years of use, he said he could go that far. It crashed due to a problem with the NVIDIA graphics chip, which apparently happened to all laptops that used the chip. Apparently it failed because the welds were damaged; exactly the same thing that happened to SONY's first PS3 consoles. When I was looking online for the causes of the breakage, I read that SONY had noticed the problem with those laptops and had extended the warranty by 2 more years for buyers to send the equipment to replace the graphics chip. According to SONY customer service, buyers had been notified of this problem, but in my case, I did not receive any notification. After trying in vain for SONY to take care of the problem, they only gave me the option of repairing it by sending it to the Netherlands, no more, no less, taking care of all the expenses and of course paying for the repair of the "reballing" they had to do. . For me it was as if you had bought a Mercedes and that after a few months of the warranty extension, the injectors failed due to manufacturing defects; and you have to put up with it and pay for everything because you've spent a few months. And without being notified of anything during those years of expansion.
I already told the girl that, in my case, "SONY NEVER AGAIN" and that of course I was not going to recommend it to anyone; not because they weren't good teams, which they were, but because their after-sales service was NEFASTO.
So if the VAIO of now has something to do with SONY, my advice. NOOOOOOOOO.
