Active Pokémon Go users drop by 80%

Pokémon Go

The launch of Pokémon Go this summer has been a real revolution within the world of mobiles and also video games. So much so that the markets for certain accessories such as auxiliary batteries grew dramatically after the launch of Pokémon Go.

However, currently it seems that the video game is not going through its best moment. After the controversy over the latest updates, several reports indicate that currently the video game has lost up to 80% of its active users, users who not only played and spread the use of the video game but also used the integrated purchases of the video game, the true income of Niantic.

Still remaining in 20% of users, Pokémon Go is still somewhat beneficial and its revenue continues to outpace Candy Crush video games, the most profitable video game in history so far.

Pokémon Go users do not look favorably on the latest video game updates

The future of Pokémon Go is not very rosy if Niantic does nothing about it. On the one hand, many users have frowned upon indiscriminate account closure or the use of alternative methods. Also many see that updates don't meet player demands since not all the pokémons have been released yet and many others wish to be able to capture new pokémon that appeared in the video games after the Pokémon Red. The expected wearable, Pokémon Go Plus is also not available yet and although it seems that it will arrive, many users expected it from the beginning. We also do not have the battles between players or the exchange of Pokémon, something that many desperately hope.

In any case Niantic still has room for maneuver and you can still make all those lost users and more join to play the famous video game with your mobile, or maybe not What do you think? Do you think future Pokémon Go updates will increase the number of active users?

Niantic does not listen to the players and that in the end makes a dent. They go at what they think is their pace I guess for business.
