Alcatel introduces POP 4 and POP 4 XL. Phone or tablet?

Alcatel-pop-4

We continue with IFA 2016, the most important technological event in Europe. In Berlin they are presenting the great novelties that will be launched on the market in the coming months. However, all the big brands are very hidden, and with very little risk in the presentations, beyond ASUS that has left us some interesting products that we will see in the coming days. We are now talking about Alcatel, the French-Chinese firm, has presented its new range POP 4, a hybrid between phone and tablet that we can find in three sizes depending on our needs, six, seven or ten inches.

We'll start with the seven-inch tablet. It will have a processor from the well-known MediaTek, more specifically the MT8735 quad core. This type of mid-range and low-end brands are beginning to bet decisively on MediaTek as a supplier, a brand that despite starting off on the wrong foot and with a bad reputation, is producing good processors this last year. It will have an LTE CAT 4 chip to provide the connectivity to match.

On the other hand, the 10-inch version will be accompanied by a Snapdragon 430, betting on the high-end of processors, despite not being the most powerful on the market, it does bring more peace of mind to the consumer since it is produced by the popular Qualcomm.

For the end we leave the best, the phone version, the Alcatel POP 4 will have six inches, with an IPS panel and HD resolution, glazed in the standard 2.5 (rounded edges). Battery 3.500 mAh it's what will get you at least a full day of charging. La rear camera will be 13 MP while the lead will not exceed 5 MP. It will include a high fidelity audio mode thanks to Waves MaxxAudio. The LTE chip in this device will be CAT 6.

Alcatel has given us little more information, it has not yet wanted to communicate the prices of these products, not even the RAM, although knowing the company and the range of them we get an idea. The European market will receive a preview of this new Alcatel product line.
