Energy Phone Pro 4G; a Spanish smartphone, good, nice and cheap

The guys Energy System have left us in recent weeks to carefully test the new Energy Phone Pro 4G in its version baptized as Navy, and that today we are going to know and analyze in great detail in this article.

It is not the first time that we have analyzed a device from this company of Spanish origin, nor is it the first time that they have managed to surprise us very pleasantly with one of their smartphones. And it is that once again they have managed to make me surprised from the moment I take the device out of the box, although yes, as I usually say, they still have a great room for improvement.

Design and finish

The design and finish of this Energy Phone Pro 4G is one of the strengths of this mobile device, starting with the terminal box and until reaching the last detail of it.

Starting with the back of the smartphone, which is one of the things that attracts the most attention is a Black Gorilla Glass 3 glass that gives the device a very elegant touch, although unfortunately it is very easily stained, also showing perhaps too much the prints of our fingers.

The rest of the terminal does not clash at all with the back and it has a successful metallic touch that gives the device a sensational appearance. Of course, if you look closely you will realize that the frame that surrounds this Energy Phone is a mix between metal and plastic that does not clash or worsens the final design.

In view of these specifications there is no doubt that we are facing a terminal of the so-called mid-range, with aspirations of being able to sneak into the high-end with some of its characteristics. Now we will review in detail some of the characteristics that we have reviewed.

Screen

On the front, as is normal, we find a 5-inch AMOLED screen, with high-resistance Dinorex protection and that offers us a r1.280 x 720 pixels HD resolution.

It is not without a doubt my preferred size of screens, and each time that of fewer people, but without a doubt the screen of this Energy Phone Pro 4G is the most interesting thanks to the colors it shows and that allows us to see, for example, the images with a really good reality.

Software

We could have tiptoed over the software issue of this Energy Phone Pro 4G, but we have not resisted criticizing Energy Sistem a bit, which includes a version of the Android operating system on its device, such as Lollipop somewhat dated. Of course, it goes without saying that it works like a charm thanks in part to the fact that it does not carry any layer of personalization, something that many users greatly appreciate.

As for what the basic applications are we find all the most used Google applications and also some more included by the Energy Sistem itself, which in some cases, such as the music player, are very good for daily and continuous use.

Camera

As we have already mentioned, the camera of this Pro 4G has a sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels with autofocus and LED flash. It goes without saying that we have tested it for several days in various conditions and we can tell you that we are without a doubt a more than interesting camera, which offers us good results, especially when light conditions are abundant. If the light is poor, the quality of the photos drops, but not by much.

The only negative aspect that we could say about the camera of this Energy Sistem device is that it does not have an image stabilizer, something that is certainly not lacking in too many smartphones today.

As for the front camera, we find a 5 megapixel sensor that also has a built-in LED flash. As is usual in most terminals on the market, the images that we can get with this camera have a more than acceptable quality.

Before closing the camera section, we must mention the application that offers us a tremendously simple and intuitive interface, which will allow us to perform any type of configuration in an easy way. Of course, the application allows us to change parameters such as white balance, ISO or exposure. In addition, we will also have a good number of filters available to give our photographs a different touch.

Battery

The battery of this Energy Sistem terminal features 2.600 mAh lithium polymer. After testing the smartphone for a few days, the truth is that we have been more than satisfied with the autonomy, undoubtedly largely due to the reduced size of its screen and because, as we have already mentioned, it is an AMOLED HD panel that does not consume too much resources.

Using this Pro 4G for a whole day and without giving it too many breaks, we have reached the end of the day without any problem.. Using it a little less, it is possible that even the battery can be extended beyond a full day.

Availability and price

This Energy Phone Pro 4G has already been on sale for some time, in two different versions in which it changes some specifications and also the color. The version that we have presented today is the one baptized as Navy in black, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and there is another one in white, baptized as Pearl in which we find a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage .

For the first version, and that we have known today, it has a price of 199 euros and the Navy version reaches 229 euros in the official Energy Sistem store which you can access from the following link. You can also buy both mobile devices via amazon, where they have a price quite similar to the one we have mentioned. Nor should we forget to remember that you can find this terminal both in large stores and in specialized technology stores.

Editor's opinion

If I had to put a note on this Energy Phone Pro 4G and taking into account that any comparison made has to be with other terminals of the so-called mid-range, It could get a pretty high grade for the design, which could perfectly touch 10, and a remarkable high for performance, specs and camera of this mobile device.

Also if we take into account its price of 199 euros for the 2GB version and 230 euros for the 3GB RAM version, there is no doubt that we are facing a more than interesting terminal. For a more than adjusted price we will have a good device, with a camera more than correct and above all with a very successful design.

In my case I have to say that I am not too convinced by these devices with five-inch screens, but even so I have found it very nice to be able to use it for a few days, for the design once again, for its lightness and for the interesting features it offers. Of course, we must highlight the outdated version of the Android operating system that has been installed natively and how dirty our device is at all times due to the fact that the material used for the back of the terminal is impossible to keep it clean throughout the day.
