Android Nougat is coming to the Nexus in December

Android Nougat

If you have a Nexus, you've been waiting for a long time for Google to finally launch that long-awaited update through which you can enjoy Android Nougat on your smartphone. Thanks to a leak from Vodafone Australia, we know that, just after the usual big security update that will be launched from Google in December, users of this device finally will receive the expected update via OTA.

As announced, this major security update is apparently expected to be released to all users on December 5. Once this update has been installed, from the same day, December 6, users will receive the update to Android 7.1 gradually.

Nexus users will start receiving Android Nougat at the beginning of next December.

As a detail, especially if you do not want to delay the installation of Android Nougat on your device, you must bear in mind that the security patch will occupy, at least for the Nexus 6P, about 350 MB and predictably it is this security update that prepares your terminal to receive Android 7.1 Nougat.

Despite the fact that we are talking about the Nexus 6P, according to the calendar revealed by Vodafone Australia, all compatible devices will receive this update progressively. Among the terminals, in addition to the aforementioned Nexus 6P, other models such as the Nexus 5X or Pixel C. At this point, just remind you that the new Google Pixel, recently launched on the market, from the moment of its launch already had Android Nougat.

To finish, just tell you about the great news that presents this new operating system, novelties as interesting as adding support for Daydream VR, A / B update, application shortcuts or circular icons.
