Apple will let you install expensive Mac Pro wheels yourself

The Mac Pro is a really expensive product, it could be said that it is almost the Ferrari of computers, not only because of its power, but because it combines design, engineering, architecture and premium materials in a single product. If you can't see more than just a computer on your Mac Pro, it's not for you. Well, to be honest, it is not for you if you are average in terms of salary, since it is incredibly expensive, as expensive as its wheels. The Mac Pro has four fixed legs as standard, if you want the wheels you will have to pay 480 euros, and until now it was necessary to go to the official technical service. To make it easier for you, the Cupertino company has decided that it will include an installation kit for the Mac Pro wheels that will allow you to install them yourself.

Not bad at all if we consider that the wheels cost 120 euros per unit. While it is true that the anchoring system may be perhaps too complex for ordinary mortals, by this I mean the procedure to be carried out, which can lead to irreversibly damaging the Mac Pro, and nobody wants that with a product of these characteristics. We all know how to change the wheel of our car, and we would do it if we had an emergency, but you know that generally you will go to the workshop if you can.

A documentation which includes information regarding the Mac Pro and its settings refers to this individual installation kit, as well has shared Stephen Hackett:

The tower comes standard with legs; the wheels are a configurable element. Both the legs and the wheels will be offered with an individual installation kit for users that will allow you to switch between one and the other.

If you want to spend 480 euros on the wheels of the Mac Pro, at least they won't "force" you to go to the Apple Store.
