As planned, the Cupertino-based company released the first major update to iOS 10 yesterday, reaching version 10.1 with important news regarding the iPhone 7 Plus. During the presentation of this model, we could see how Apple placed special emphasis on the new portrait function, a function that thanks to the double camera allows us to blur the background of the captures that we do to people, objects or animals, although initially the algorithm is designed to work with people. In addition, the launch of this first major update, brings the arrival of Apple Pay to Japan and solves the connectivity problems of terminals based on Android Wear with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Since the launch of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models, many users have expressed their discomfort at the not being able to connect your Android Wear based devices to your brand new iPhone 7. Google recognized the bug a few weeks ago and worked closely with Apple to find a solution to the problem, a solution that they apparently have already found and has been included in iOS 10.1.

This update is now available for all users who have an iPhone 5 onwards, iPad mini 2 onwards and both iPad Pro models. To install this new update we can do it in two ways: a through the device via OTA (Over the air) or by connecting our device to iTunes through the Lightning cable and wait for iTunes to detect the version of our device so that it can verify it with the latest version that Apple released yesterday.

If you are a jailbreak user, you should know that today there is no version of iOS 10 that supports jailbreak, so if you are enjoying it but want to try the new features of iOS 10, you will have to think twice since the latest version compatible with the jailbreak is iOS 9.3.3 and the latest version that Apple is currently signing is iOS 10.0.2 .two.
