By now, many of you already know the event that has been held in Barcelona, for a while related to gaming and video games. Well, after the success of the second edition of the past 2017 it seems that the enclosure has become too small for them and now they change their location for the third edition of this year.

The change of venue means that the date of the celebration also has to be changed, and in this case the Barcelona Games World (BGW), the Fira de Barcelona video game show, It will be held this year in December.

Specifically in the third edition of the show will be held from November 29 to December 2, 2018 and will move to Hall 2 of the Gran Via venue. This pavilion is also used for other important events such as the last Mobile World Congress (MWC) and pavilion 2 is the best in terms of the smartphone event, since it brings together all the current big brands and has a privileged place in the enormous enclosure.

The BGW will once again have the presence of the main brands so visitors will once again enjoy the opportunity to try the great novelties of the season during the show, even before its commercial launch. The eSports will be, along with the novelties of the brands, other of the great protagonists of the show. The event will once again host live tournaments and some of the major national video game competitions.

Again we will see how this event becomes one of the most important in the country in terms of video games and logically it will also host professionals in the sector with activities of networking and training. Last year 480 interviews were held with the assistant developers and the 35 publishers and participating investors. It will also have the presence of RetroBarcelona, the leading event in Gaming vintage, with the aim of providing fans with a space to rediscover the most outstanding consoles and titles of the 80s and 90s.
