Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro, official in Europe, these are their characteristics and prices

Black Shark 3

Black Shark is synonymous with Gaming. Since its inception with the name of Xiaomi in front of it, it showed its intentions, which were none other than make your smartphone the natural substitute for portable consoles. Portable consoles that are in decline. Both Sony and Nintendo are exiting the market to focus on the desktop, in the case of Sony and the Hybrid style on the part of Nintendo. Although the latest Nintendo console is only portable, its size does not invite to be carried on a daily basis.

That is why players who are looking for a small device with which to play games on public transport or during work breaks, seek shelter in their mobile terminals, since they are always in their pockets. This time we are facing the renovation of the Gaming terminal par excellence, with two well differentiated aspects, both by size and by functions, beyond these differences, both share a large part of their hardware. Stay in this article to know all the details and their official prices.

Design: aggressive lines with personality

As is customary for the brand, this Black Shark 3 offers an aggressive design on its rear. There is a change in your design scheme, where two symmetrical triangles stand out above and below, making this camera module top. The one below has been used to house both the 5G lake as well as a charging connector with PoGo pins from where different accessories can be connected.

Black Shark 3 design

If we pay attention to the pro model, we notice a differential addition on the right side, it is two physical triggers that can be configured to execute different actions in a wide variety of video games. For example: in driving games where it can be used to control acceleration and braking. It will also be very useful for shooting and aiming in FPS. It is appreciated that we have this type of add-on without the need for additional peripherals.

7,1 ″ 90Hz display

The front does not stand out in terms of design but if in terms of performance, it houses an impressive 7,1-inch Amoled display with 2K resolution for Pro model and a 6,67 ″ with FHD resolution in the case of the normal model. Both displays are compatible with DC Dimming, TrueView and HDR10 +, in addition to having a rate of 90 Hz refresh rate and 270 Hz sampling rate. Something remarkable about the front design is that we are not going to lose information of any kind, neither by notch nor by holes in the screen, this is solved with a few concise upper and lower frames that house both the sensors and the front speakers. The fingerprint sensor is located under the screen.

Hardware: Power and connectivity

Gaming terminals stand out for having a differential design but they also agree on one thing, they always carry the most powerful of the moment in their guts, This case is no exception. count on 8 GB LPDDR4 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM that combine with 128 or 256 GB internal storage UFS 3.0. He Black Shark 3 Pro, we will only have access to the top version of the range with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The processor is the same in both models, the Snapdragon 865, the most powerful and current of Qualcomm. This, as we already know, is compatible with 5G networks, so the Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro are postulated as two of the first 5G gaming mobiles. As we have already seen in previous editions, the new Black Shark also include a liquid cooling system through a vapor chamber.

Snapdragon 865

All this power and the deployment of screens of this size need a good battery, the Pro model has a higher capacity battery, although the difference is not remarkable. The Black Shark 3 has 4.720 mAh with 65 W fast chargewhile the Pro model achieves  5.000 mAh with fast charge, also 65W. An expected capacity, although it does not stand out for mah, we hope that it does so in terms of efficiency, since in the case of the Pro model the 2k resolution coupled with 5g and 90Hz can be quite expensive. In terms of connectivity, we have everything expected to accompany this great processor, but in no case do we have NFC, something that in my opinion all current terminals should have.

Triple camera

In this section we do not have any difference between the two devices, since they both have a triple camera module in a triangle, where We find a main sensor of 64 Mpx, a wide angle of 5 Mpx and a third sensor of 13 Mpx. For the front camera we find a 20 Mpx sensor which has been placed in the upper small frame. It is an already known camera configuration, which will make us obtain good photographic results a priori, if in addition to playing we want to take some photos.
