The new Google device to stream between smartphone, tablet and computer with the TV, Chromecast, was "gutted" a few days ago by the members of the iFixit website, as we showed you in Actualidad Gadget. Inside there were few interesting things: HDMI connectivity with 1080p high definition support, its compatibility with Android and Apple devices, its power via USB cable and Wi-Fi is 802.11 b/g/n.
It is at this last point that we have to stop, since we know that Chromecast relays data by streaming through the Wifi of our homes, but apparently the chip is also compatible with Bluetooth 3.0 technology. The chip is called AzureWave and the truth is that we do not have much data about it, since at the moment we know that Chromecast operates strictly through Wifi and we do not know the function of Bluetooth technology.
It may have something to do with syncing with different devices, but some media, such as web geek, they assure that this portion of the AzureWave chip is not enabled. This means that Google is not showing us all the potential that lies behind its latest gadget, chromecast, and that has surprises in store for the future, possibly.
The fact that inside chromecast hiding so few elements has allowed to market the product so cheap: only 35 dollars.
