The animations of all operating systems, when I mean all, I mean all operating systems, whether desktop or mobile devices, they are always one of the aspects where slow operation of the device is usually reflected, so If our device shows symptoms of fatigue, the best we can do is eliminate or accelerate them as much as possible so that they last as short a time as possible.
First, it must be taken into account that in order to modify the system animations, we must first activate the developer menu, a menu that is hidden in the system and that we must activate previously. To do this, we must go to the System Settings and press 7 times on About phone / Phone information. As we repeatedly press on this option, the number of times we have left to press will appear on the screen.
Modify or delete animations on an Android smartphone
- Once we have pressed 7 times on this option, right at the top, a new menu will appear called Developer options.
- Next, we go to the section Drawing, below which we will find the following menus: Window animation scale, Transition-animation scale and Animator duration scale.
- In the next step, we must access these three menus and modify their values. If we want to speed up the transition speed of the animations, we must select the value 0,5x in all the menus.
- But if on the contrary, we want disable all animations, we must select in these three menus the option Animation deactivated.
