Dell introduces first laptop with wireless charging

Wireless charging, or rather by induction, is becoming one of the must-haves of smartphone models. Leaving aside that we can use the phone while it is charging, this induction charging system allows us to charge easily and quickly our smartphone without having to connect the said cable every night charger, cable that always ends on the floor, under the table or in any other hard-to-reach place.

The evolution is being slower than it should and little by little it has begun to reach other devices. The Dell company has just introduced the Latitude 7285 2-in-1, the first laptop that using an induction hob allows us to charge wirelessly, without cables, through an induction system.

The base, which is sold independently of the laptop, has been developed by WiTricity and offers us an induction charging system with 30 watts of power. The charging time has not been determined, but considering that this type of charge is a little slower than the traditional one, the main advantage it offers us is comfort, since its price may not be very attractive for many users.

This wireless charging system compatible with this new Dell laptop is priced at $ 199, a somewhat expensive accessory so that it becomes an essential access for many users. At best, it will be the large companies that require speed and mobility that can bet on this system.

This new 2-in-1 from Dell offers us a 12,3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2.880 x 1.920, 16 GB of RAM, a next-gen Intel Core Kaby Lake processor and a solid storage drive. The aesthetic is very similar to what we can find on the Microsoft Surface. The sale price of this terminal is $ 1.199, to which we will have to add the price of the wireless charging system if we want to enjoy it.
