Throughout this year we have been seeing how the figures that Apple used to us, in iPhone sales, are no longer the same as previous years, where the company beat, quarter after quarter, its best sales records. Much of the blame is found in China, where the Cupertino guys have opened 41 physical Apple Stores in record time where it seems that once the initial fever has passed, China is no longer the engine of the apple company. The new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus do not offer us enough features to renew our iPhone 6s and that is being noticed in the sales of the new iPhone models.
In case anyone had any doubts, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, from KGI Securities has published a new report in which they affirm that the initial demand so spectacular that the new iPhone models had had, is no longer the same nor will it be in the next few months. As we can read in his report, Apple will ship and sell far fewer units of these new iPhones compared to September and October.
Kuo is based on the orders that Apple is placing with its suppliers, orders that are down between 5 and 15% for the months of November and December. According to Kuo, once two months have passed since the official launch of the new iPhones, users are realizing that the change is not really worth it, at least for users who were interested in the 4,7-inch model.
