Digital Paper, Sony's new electronic ink notebook

This is a 1-3 inch e-ink pad in which we can read notes, create our own PDFs, zoom or something as simple as taking handwritten notes. We can also transfer documents, files, forms, etc., between our smartphone with Android and iOS operating systems, for this we use the Sony Digital Paper Mobile application.

This digital notebook is really slim, thanks to its electronic ink screen it allows us to spend hours reading and writing, so we will not have excuses not to use it. Also thanks to its reduced weighs just 240 g allows the user to take it anywhere comfortably and without problem.

Sony has a similar 13.3-inch digital notebook that launched for the same dates last year (the model called DPT-RP1) but that is a little heavier and more expensive than the one just presented, also by size almost that the 10,3-inch model convinces us more, which it is 25% lighter. These are some of the functions that this new Sony notebook allows:

  • Capture screen and view screen content on a projector or from a connected PC or Mac
  • It allows to choose the page to which we want to go from a document without going one by one, we can also zoom anywhere on the screen
  • We can create our own forms with the menus and write in PDF format to import it wherever we want
  • All pages of any document, book or article are displayed with the aspect ratio optimized for the notebook

Add 16GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi connectivity and the stylus. In this case, what we like the least is the price of the product and it is that although it is true that we are facing an interesting product for a specific type of user, the price rises to $ 599,99 and therefore it can be an expensive product for many.
