To begin we will remember the steps for the models that do have a physical home button, in this case all models prior to the iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPad and iPod Touch. The first thing is open iTunes and connect device with original Apple USB cable.
- We will turn off the device
- Then you have to hold down the top button until the bar appears turn it off

- We open iTunes on the computer and connect the new iPhone 7 with the Apple USB / Lightning cable
- We will turn off the iPhone holding down the power button
- This is where the process changes and now we have to press the volume down button and the power button together for 10 seconds.
- Once the 10 seconds have passed what we have to do is release the power button and hold down the volume down button for another 5 seconds about until iTunes recognizes the iPhone
