This sensor allows store up to 5 fingerprints and it is something that many wanted to see on the device, plus the side part adds a new slider button (Alert Slider) to control the sound and easily switch between three notification profiles without having to take the OnePlus 2 out of your pocket.
Side frame is metal and adds a bit more weight to the set but offers the user a better feel when worn. In addition, new cases are added that will sell (hopefully this time if) when the device goes on sale, these interchangeable housings They do not mean that the battery can be removed, but they will give a different touch to our OnePlus 2. The available models apart from the Sandstone Black that it adds originally, will be the four shown in the image below: the Bamboo, Black Apricot, Kevlar and Rosewood.
The heart of the OnePlus 2
The new Octa Core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 1.8 GHz promises spectacular performance alongside GPU Adreno 430, that 3 or 4 GB DDR4 RAM memory (depending on model) and the 16 and 64 GB of internal storage, give the rest. In terms of power, the new device has nothing to envy the high-end of other companies, rather the opposite ... If we look at the screen of this OnePlus 2 we will see that the panel has been improved and we will not have a problem with reflections and scratch resistant thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass.
Another very interesting novelty that makes the difference is the new USB Type C port that incorporates the OnePlus 2. That OPO decides to put this connector on its device marks a step that seems to be present in the large companies to standardize the connector.
Cameras
This time the new device adds a rear camera with optical image stabilizer, allowing us to eliminate involuntary movements for incredibly sharp photos and videos. It has 13 megapixels and is undoubtedly a spectacular camera. At the front we will have no problem with 5 megapixels for our conferences or selfies.
Price and Availability
Initially the prices for this Flagship Killer is $339 for its version with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage and $399 for the 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In principle, the sale of the 16 GB model will take longer to come out than the 64 GB of space, it is clear that the rest of the specifications are the same in both models. The new OnePlus 2 will go on sale on August 11 in: Europe, Canada, USA, China and India, and invitations to get a unit, so it will be difficult to get one.
