Facebook will add the option to create GIFs in the camera options

Currently when it comes to capturing with the Facebook application, we can see how the guys from Mark Zuckerberg put at our disposal a large number of options to create funny videos, videos that we can use to add to our stories. But if the number of options is already high enough, according to The Next Web, Facebook is already testing a new function among a small group of users that would allow us to quickly create GIFs to share them through our wall. This option will allow us to create small videos in which we can add all the nonsense that it makes available to us through the camera option.

In this way, we will not have to resort to third-party applications to convert our videos into GIFs but we will be able to create them directly by adding stickers, filters, effects ... What remains to be seen is the quality of the GIFs that the application creates , because despite being a format that has become one of the most used in almost all platforms, the space they usually occupy it is quite high, especially when the quality and size of it is quite high.

The small group of users who have access to this function has published a screenshot in which we can see how we can access this new video format. In the upper part of it, we have two options: Normal and GIF. By selecting this second option we can start creating our favorite GIFs, which apparently we can download to our device to use with other applications such as instant messaging.

At the moment it seems that Facebook will launch this option initially on the Apple iOS platform and Android users are going to have to wait to see if this option is finally released among all users, but everything seems to point to that it will finally be.
