The Google Play Family Collection is now available in Spain

Every time at younger ages, the smallest of the house begin to make use of smartphones, with the expense that this entails, not only due to the additional cost of a line but also an expense for the expense that can be made in operating system services, either Android or iOS. For a couple of years, Apple has offered all users of the iOS platform the Family option, in which we can group up to 5 different accounts With which to share everything that the parent or guardian of the account purchases, who must be of legal age.

Goole has taken longer than usual to offer his alternative. It did it a few months ago, during which it has only been available in the United States. Fortunately for Spanish users the option Family Collection is now available in Spain. This feature allows all family members to be grouped under a single account, which will be in charge of managing and authorizing all purchases made.

In the case of applications, if they are compatible with this function, they can be installed on all devices of the Family Collection without having to pay each user to download them. The same happens with the movies or books that are purchased through this option. Every time a family member wants to make a purchase of a service or application, the account holder or guardian will receive a message in which they will have to authorize or deny the purchase. The maximum number of people that can be included in the Family Collection is 5, without the possibility of expanding the number.

The Family Collection is not compatible with the Play Music streaming music service, since this subscription service offers us the option of contracting the family plan for 14,99 euros per month, instead of the individual account that has a price of 9,99 euros and that only allows one user to use it. Unlike the service offered by Apple, which allows us to create this group from our device, the guys at Google force us, for now, to visit a web page, in order to create the family collection.
