Leaked Google Pixel 2 XL

Leaked Google Pixel 2 XL

In just a day, Google will clear all our doubts in the presentation of the new generation of its Pixel smartphones, as well as other novelties, including a much-rumored Google Home Mini.

But while that moment arrives, rumors and leaks multiply, highlighting several images that have been published by the popular Evan Blass and in which we can observe the new and supposed look that the Google Pixel 2 XL will have.

A Google Pixel 2 XL that looks more like the LG G6 than its predecessor

According to the images leaked by Blass through his profile on the social network Twitter, the new Google Pixel 2 XL will bring innovations both in hardware and design as well as in software.

In one of the leaked images, whose authenticity has not been confirmed and, therefore, I advise you to take it with caution, we can see both the front and back of the new smartphone and, apparently, it would have a 18: 9 aspect ratio display, like the LG G6, and very close to the 18,5: 9 of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

This screen occupies the vast majority of the entire front, sheltered from a almost frameless design as it is already a trend in the most current smartphones however, the edges of the screen are not curved so, despite the obvious resemblance, it marks distances with the LG G6.

On the back it stands out that the Google Pixel 2 XL DOES NOT have a double camera, something that however should not surprise us as it is a fairly widespread rumor to this day.

The device will also count two two stereo speakers, one on each of the upper and lower sides, while the front camera is located in the upper left.

But perhaps what is most striking is the new position of the Google search bar, now under the application dock icons. Without a doubt, the choice of this location is not due to any whim and we assume that it is due to the desire to intensify its use.

What do you think of the new Google Pixel 2 XL, in case it really is this one we are looking at?
