How about playing an innocent prank on your friends in the Google Chrome browser? Although we have posed this question, we might as well suggest that by using a plug-in for this web browser pwe might be forbidding someone to use it at the moment when we are not in front of the computer.
An extension called Flip This basically does all the magic, which acts automatically with a single click if we want it that way, or in a personalized way if we enter the configuration of this extension itself.
What does Flip This do in the Google Chrome browser?
The image that we have placed in the upper part is a small sample of it, where you can see that the official website of Killer Vinegar has a different orientation than normal. This is exactly what the "Flip This" plugin does, being able to make it act in very different ways if we want to further confuse whoever is using this Internet browser. You must first go to the Chrome store using the following link, where we only have to select the respective button for the add-on or extension to be installed for free.
For the changes to take effect, it is necessary and recommended that the Google Chrome browser be closed and reopened; later we will have to select with the right button of the mouse the icon that corresponds to this extension, at which time a few direct functions will appear to use at that very moment. For example, we could choose from the options shown in the context menu to the one that says «Flip this page», at which time a few options will appear to rotate the content of the web page that we are seeing at that moment.
Of course, this is the simplest part of everything, having to enter the "configuration" if we want to opt for a few additional alternatives. For example, from there we are allowed to let's choose a type of rotation (orientation) that it is configured by "default"; for example:
- We can choose to automatically change the orientation:
- One rotation horizontally or vertically (or both)
- At a specific angle that we will define through a context menu.
- That in each change of orientation there is an animated effect.
- That the contextual menu options also change orientation.
- We can also specify a whole group of web pages that we want to always be displayed with a different orientation.
After we define in the configuration the type of orientation we want to have for one or more web pages, this will be applied each time the user (us or anyone) goes to them. If we do not activate the «auto rotation» we can make the effect appear mechanically or manually. To do this, we would only have to go to a specific website and then press with the button of our mouse pointer on the icon that this complement corresponds. At that moment we will be able to notice that the orientation changes with an animation. If at a certain moment we want to restore the settings, we can choose the respective option that is shown when we right-click on the icon of this extension.
This and any add-ons for Google Chrome that you have installed at any given time can be removed very easily; To do this, you would only have to direct the mouse pointer towards the icon of the respective element, having to select it with the right button. Right there will appear the option that says "Remove from Chrome", at which point the selected "extension" will automatically disappear. If you need to do the same with several extensions, you will have to choose instead the option that says "manage extensions" from the same context menu that we indicated above.
