At the moment there is no way to solve this problem, at least in the first betas, in which Samsung is focusing on optimizing overall system performance, not the optional applications of these devices, as is the case of the application that allows us to manage the Gear VR.
If you can't live without the feeling these glasses give you, the only possible option is to restore the device completely and leave the beta program, so that the latest version compatible with your terminal is downloaded, which is available on Samsung's servers.
