Galaxy Note 10 vs Galaxy Note 10+: How they differ

Just yesterday Samsung's high-end was officially presented, with two new phones this time. Korean brand has left us with the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. Two phones that have many aspects in common, but also have a number of differences, which are important to know. Therefore, we tell you more in this regard below.

As we submit a comparison to the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. In this way, you can see what aspects they have in common and how these Samsung models differ. Especially in the event that you were considering buying any of them when they are launched on the market at the end of this month.

Integrated

The design of the two phones is identical, as we have seen in his photos. Both leave us with a screen with hardly any frames, where we find a single hole in the upper central part of it. It is a design that breaks with what we normally find in Samsung phones. But we can see that these Galaxy Note 10 take advantage of the screen and the front very well, thanks to this design. The fingerprint sensor has been integrated under the screen.

The back of the two devices is also identical, although in the case of the Galaxy Note 10+ we have an additional ToF sensor, which we can see located next to the cameras, next to the Flash of the same. It is a minimal difference in this sense, in the design, but it must be mentioned. For the rest, the only difference is the size, since the normal model has a 6,3-inch screen and the 6,8-inch Plus model, with a higher resolution as well.

Processor, RAM and storage

Exynos 9825

The processor of this new high-end is the same in both cases: Exynos 9825. This chip was introduced hours before the phones, and it represents an important change for the Korean brand. It is a processor manufactured in 7 nm, which is the first from Samsung to be manufactured in this process. It is the main change that we find in it in this regard.

The two phones feature different RAM and storage combinations. The Galaxy Note 10 has a RAM of 8 GB And it comes with a single combination of internal storage, 256GB in this case. In addition, this model does not have the possibility of expanding this capacity, since it does not have a microSD slot, which is one of the complaints of many users today.

While the Galaxy Note 10+ leaves us with 12 GB of RAM and two storage combinations, 256 and 512 GB, in both cases expandable up to 1 TB using a microSD. So it is an important launch in this regard for the Korean brand, which offers users a large amount of storage space. But in general we can see that both offer us a lot of storage space.

Cameras

One of the aspects where we can see a clear difference is in the cameras, although it is not a determining aspect. The two phones have the same front sensor. It is a 10 MP camera with f / 2.2 aperture and that it has Dual Pixel technology, as confirmed by the company itself in its official presentation. Also in the rear cameras there is a lot in common.

The two Galaxy Note 10 have the three main sensors in common. In this case, Samsung has used a combination of Ultra Wide Angle (123º) with a 16 MP sensor and aperture f / 2.2 + Wide Angle (77º) with 12 MP and variable aperture between 1.5 and 2.4 + 12 MP sensor with optical zoom and aperture f / 2.1. This is found in the two phones of this high range.

In the case of the Galaxy Note 10+, in addition to these sensors we have a fourth sensor, what is a ToF Sensor with VGA. It is the fourth sensor we found on the phone. It is a sensor designed to measure depth and help cameras take better photos. In addition, all the cameras in the two models are powered by artificial intelligence, which gives us functions such as scene detection or some additional photography modes.

Battery

The battery is another of the fields where we find clear differences between the two phones. Because their sizes are different, we could already imagine that the battery size would be different between the two models. This has been fulfilled, but not only is the size different, but also the fast charge that each model has is different.

The Galaxy Note 10 arrives with a 3.500 mAh capacity battery. In combination with the processor of the phone it should give us a good autonomy in this case. The battery also has a fast charge of 25W, so it is a good load, which allows you to charge the phone with great speed. Besides having also wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, popular on Samsung.

On the other hand we find the Galaxy Note 10+, which makes use of a 4.300 mAh capacity battery. It will provide us with greater autonomy than the normal model, it is expected at least. Although one of the big differences refers to its fast charge, which in this case is 45W. Without a doubt, it is presented as one of the most powerful on Android. For the rest, it also has wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, like the normal model.

5G compatibility

Exynos 9825

As happened with the Galaxy S10 in February this year, we find a model that has 5G compatibility. It's the Galaxy Note 10+ which has a special version compatible with 5G. To make this possible, the Exynos 5100 modem has been used in the phone's processor, the Exynos 9825. This version will soon hit the market, as confirmed by Samsung.

This version with 5G is going to be launched in Spain by the hand of Vodafone, This is something that has already been confirmed, although at the moment there is no information about the price that this version will have. Everything suggests that it will be the most expensive, exceeding 1.209 euros for the most expensive model of the Note 10+. But we expect confirmation from the brand soon.
