Google Allo could be available this week

Google Allo

At the last Google I / O we met two new Google apps that posed many questions to users about the future of Google Hangouts and the rest of instant messaging applications. And although still Google Hangouts has not disappeared if one of these apps has arrived, Google Duo.

This app pretends to be a Facetime for Android, something that has caught the attention of many users because currently has been installed more than 10 million times, according to the Play Store. This about Google Duo, but And what happened to Google Allo?

According to Evan Blass, Google Allo will be launched this week, although it is not known what day it will be (it may already be available in the Play Store at the moment) or if it will really have the same effect as Google Duo. Google Allo is an instant messaging app, an app that will offer the same as WhatsApp and Telegram, with fast and encrypted conversations that will also allow you to share all types of files.

Google Allo will make us stop using the Google account for service registration

But the difference compared to other apps is that Google Allo will take our number as the only id and not the Google account, which will help significantly when communicating with other devices or for other types of operations such as installing apps.

In addition, among other things, it will allow us to send messages to users who do not have our number, such as the messaging app that we had in the past. So many say that Google Allo and Duo will be standard apps in the next versions of Android and no reason is lacking or so it seems. In any case, we have to wait to see and test Google Allo to know if it will really be the definitive substitute for WhatsApp and the messaging app or not. What do you think?
