Little by little and practically since its launch, Google has made the Google Maps application a must-have application on all our devices. Not only does it allow us to search for places of entertainment, restaurants, public transport schedules ... but also after the last update allows us to find parking in a simpler way.
Parking, especially if we live in big cities, ands one of the problems that makes us ask ourselves on more than one occasion, if we travel by public transport or choose to use our vehicle. In the different application stores, we can find some applications that help us in this tedious work, but thanks to Google Maps we will soon stop using them.
This function, which was not currently available in Spain, has just landed in our country by adding 5 Spanish cities: Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga and Valencia. The operation of this service is activated when we establish the destination to which we want to go. Once established, it will inform us about the difficulty or ease that we are going to find to be able to park our vehicle.
Unlike other applications, which use a wide community of users to show the spaces where we can park, Google claims that it relies on historical data to provide this information, Information that, as it is available in some cities, will automatically learn to gradually improve the information it offers us. Obviously better than us, no one will know what time we can park near our home, especially if we live in the center of a city, but it is appreciated that the Google guys do everything possible to help us in this tedious work of looking for parking, especially when we go to areas of the city that we do not visit regularly.
