Google Maps won't help you find parking

Currently we can find different applications in the market of applications that help us find a parking, applications that allow us to park our vehicle quickly if we are in a town where its use is widespread. Google continues to expand the number of functions it offers to its loyal users, from searching for public toilets in India, to finding any type of business, no matter how rare. But soon and if the project goes as the company has planned, Google wants to help us find parking informing us in advance of what we are going to find on arrival, that is, if finding it will be an easy or complicated task.

Once we establish the route to our destination, Google Maps will inform us through an icon of the ease or complexity of finding parking, taking into account the area we are going to visit and the expected time of arrival, a very important question when it comes to finding parking, especially during business hours. At the moment it seems that this function seems to be limited to shopping centers, airports, hospitals and others, but it is logical that where it can be most useful is in the city, since these places, there are always public parking lots where you can park your vehicle.

Most likely, Google Obtain this information according to the traffic density in the area, from where it can logically be deduced along with the time, the availability or not of parking at our destination. This new function is currently only available in beta version 9.44 of Google Maps, a version that if you are an Android user you can download through the following link. At the moment this function is not operational in all countries, so it is likely that your country is not among the lucky ones.
