The GSMA makes official the dates of the MWC 2019

It seems incredible that we have already passed half of this year 2018 but if there is something that we cannot stop, it is time. During the month of February of this year, one of the largest current mobile telephony events, the Mobile World Congress, was held in Barcelona. In this event most of the novelties of the different manufacturers that we have around the world are presented, and next year it is expected that this event will continue to break attendance records for media and technology companies, so the official dates for the start and end of the MWC are already on the table.

For now we can see that this year the dates are quite close to last year and all the action will take place from February 25 to 28, 2019. The GSMA wants you to reserve this date for the event in case you want to attend and therefore makes it official when there are a few months to go before it starts.

As every year, the large companies that attend the event will make their presentations the weekend before the actual start of the MWC, so on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 2019 we will have Huawei, Samsung, Lenovo, LG and other big brands possibly presenting their new devices. All of them will be available on MWC days at the La Fira venue.

The MWC It is much more than smartphones and that can be seen and verified by the enormous number of accredited companies and media that attend the Mobile World Congress year after year. Se hopes that it will continue to be held in Barcelona until 2023, but all this will depend on the authorities of the country and the organizers of the event, in principle it seems certain that we will have Mobile for a time in Spain.
