Without warning we find two new Honor phones. The Chinese brand renews its mid-range with two new models, which are already official. They leave us with the Honor 20s and the Honor Play 3. On the first of these two phones there were already some leaks this past week. While on the second there have been rumors for longer.
On a technical level they are two different models, but both the Honor 20s and the Honor Play 3 share design with hole in screen. A design that we are seeing regularly in the range of phones of the Chinese manufacturer and that is gaining popularity in its mid-range.
In addition, the two phones arrive with three rear cameras, which is another feature we are seeing with increasing frequency in the current mid-range on Android. They are presented as two good phones in this market segment. We will tell you more below, individually.

A similar design, in addition to having elements in common, only that certain aspects have been simplified, so that this model fits this market segment and can be launched with a lower price on the market. The cameras fully comply, being a very popular combination in this market segment. The Honor 20s uses a fingerprint sensor, located on one of its sides, an unusual location, although the brand is making use of it in several of its phones.

The Honor Play 3 is another model within the mid-range of the Chinese brand. It has many aspects in common with the Honor 20s, its cameras are the same for example, although it is a somewhat simpler model. It uses a more modest processor and is generally somewhat simpler. It is presented as a compliant mid-range, with their cameras as the element of greatest interest for the consumers. The rear cameras are the same as those of the Honor 20s, without changes in this regard, but the front is different in the two models. This Honor Play 3 uses a Kirin 710 processor, which is the processor that started the premium mid-range in the Chinese brand, although it has been losing ground to Kirin 810 in this case.
The absence of the fingerprint sensor is what draws attention. It is common for low-end models to not use it, but it is rare that in today's mid-range Android there is a phone without a fingerprint sensor. The Honor Play 3 uses facial recognition, as an unlocking method for the phone.
Price and launch
The two phones have already been officially released in China. Although at the moment we do not know anything about an international launch of any of them. So we will have to wait for the company to give us more data in this regard, which will surely be shortly. The normal thing would be that they are launched in Spain as well.
