How to disable Game Center

game center

For both casual and regular users of games on Apple devices, The Game Center application is more useless than throwing daisies at pigs. It is absolutely useless. Well yes, so that every time we enter to play some games, a gigantic poster appears saying that we are already connected with thousands of people (who surely think the same). In fact, over the years, Apple has begun to consider eliminating it completely within the new iOS 8, which will be released, almost certainly in September of this year.

Fortunately, we can deactivate it so that it does not continuously bother us every time we play. In this way, when entering each game, we will no longer have to wait for Game Center to inform us of our progress or that of our friends. For this we must proceed as we inform you below.

disable-game-center

  • First of all we must go to the section Settings of our device.
  • We look for the fifth block of options where it is located Game Center. The available options will be displayed on the right.
  • Now we must go to the first option where it appears our ID and press.
  • The device will show us 3 options: Log out Have you forgotten your Apple ID? and Cancel. To deactivate Game Center and not show us the happy messages we must click on the first option Close session.

Next, the name of our Apple ID will be shown and a blank space where we must write the password of our account to be able to reactivate Game Center. From now on, the first time we go back to our usual favorite, the first time it will ask us to activate it, we will have to click on cancel to skip this step forever. From now on one of the most useless applications of iOS will no longer bother us.

Thanks for your advice. I have followed it and the option to activate still appears but at least I can cancel each time it comes out.
