The North American Hewlett Packard (HP) has presented one of the most interesting convertible laptops in recent months. We must also say that it is very possible that this model competes with the new Microsoft Surface Book 2. This is the HP ZBook x2, a computer based on the latest generation of Intel processor and that it can house a large amount of RAM memory, as well as a fairly large storage space.
The HP ZBook x2 can enjoy different configurations. Of course, all of them will enjoy a 14-inch diagonal size screen. Also all will have a maximum resolution of 4K (3.840 x 2.160 pixels). That is, although it is a team focused on mobile work, it is not a barrier for the user to enjoy high definition content.
On the other hand, inside the computer we will find the eighth generation of Intel processors. And this can be: Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7. They can be added up to a total of up to 32 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the space to save files may be up to 2 TB in SSD format.
The graphics part is made up of two graphics cards. The first one is integrated and it is the Intel HD Graphics 620 model. The HP ZBook x2 has quite a few physical connections: HDMI, USB 3.0, USB-C with Thunderbolt 3 support, SD card reader. In addition, you will have next-generation Bluetooth and WiFi. Meanwhile, when it comes to getting it, you can choose whether you want to use Windows 10 Pro or choose a model without an operating system (freeOS).
The design is nice, and in the back we will have a stand with which to tilt the HP ZBook x2 to work. Meanwhile, the company warns that this convertible can work perfectly with a stylus manufactured by Wacom; it would be one of the perfect tools for the most creative users.
Regarding the autonomy of its battery, the HP ZBook x2 can reach a maximum of 10 hours. In this aspect, it falls below the new Surface Book 2 with 17 hours of autonomy. And its price will start from U.S. dollar 1.789 for the most basic model.
