HTV Vive Focus, the new virtual reality glasses from HTC without cables

Although the launch of HTC's virtual reality system came later than that of Oculus, many have been the users who have known how to choose wisely and opted for the virtual reality system of the Taiwanese company, a system that offers more quality and freedom when it comes to playing games, although its price is higher than that of its rival.

The Taiwanese firm has presented a new virtual reality device dubbed HTC Vive Focus, an independent system without cables and to which it is not necessary to add the mobile to be able to use it. This project, which has been carried out jointly with Qualcomm, is halfway between the HTC Vive and Samsung's virtual reality glasses.

It must be borne in mind that this new model does not reach the market to replace or replace the Vive model, but this model oriented to the education sector, demonstrating the same interest as Microsoft and Samsung, and with which it wants to become another teaching medium in educational centers to facilitate student learning.

The HTV Vive Focus are aimed at the Chinese market, but the company plans to present soon a similar device for the American and European market, which according to some rumors could be called Eclipse, a name that has not been officially confirmed. As stated by the company during the presentation, there are currently more than 100 developers creating content for this new device.

Inside the HTC Vive Focus we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with two AMOLED displays, of which the resolution has not been specified. They come with two controls, similar to those found in Google's DayDream and Samsung Gear VR models, to control and interact with the content displayed on the glasses.
