Betting on a design and materials that do not please everyone

However, what does convince the most purists is the fact that it includes glass on the back and some polished steel edges that make it as beautiful as it is not very resistant, drops will not be the best companion for your steel-based phone. .

The camera and the way it stands out on the phone vertically does not convince everyone, but the reality is that both in front and behind Apple has taken care to create a phone that can be distinguished by the naked eye from all the others ... would this be what Apple wanted from the beginning?

A qualitative leap on the screen unprecedented at Apple

It is not decisive for the purchase, but it is what to expect from a phone that costs more than a thousand euros. It was a more than necessary feature, a panel at the height of such a terminal, the highest range of smart telephony right now. In short, we do not want to focus too much on the screen, it fulfills like any other OLED panel but we will have to see how it ages. The most differentiating aspect is the True Tone mode that appeals to those who love low saturation and more realistic colors.

Face ID, the new great revolution in biometric identification

When it comes to testing this new feature, To be honest, I have not found a greater delay than what we would find using, for example, Touch ID, at least not enough to take it into account. But the reality is that we do not know enough to be able to quantify it efficiently and quickly, the facial scanner behaves spectacularly, especially when we make use of the feature dedicated to Animoji, the reality is that it works in many unlikely situations, so much so that we tried it with sunglasses and it unlocked without flinching, but giving guarantees that in the medium and long term this could be the technology of the future would be saying too much for me part.

The reality is that you can see that Apple has worked a lot on Face ID and has not released a poor system, without finishing or anything like that, it is an infinitely more precise system than the one we find in the competition, but to what extent this improvement it is useful we do not know how to quantify it. Be that as it may, my fingers have missed a fingerprint reader, and like me there will be hundreds of users.

Double stabilizer (OIS), Apple bets on the camera

Apple has decided to mount the same cameras that we can find in the iPhone 8 Plus with one exception, the OIS this time is in both lenses. Both sensors have 12 Mpx, having an aperture of f / 1.8 for one of them and f / 2.4 for the other. My verdict on the iPhone X

Apple has brought the future once again by imposing the present. However, we must understand certain concepts before purchasing this phone, to begin with that it is not for all audiences, the price is quite painful for many, no less than 1159 euros in its 64 GB version. To make matters worse, when purchasing it you must bear in mind that you are wearing something different, that you do not have a fingerprint sensor and that It's the most radical phone the Cupertino company has come up with in many years, which can both frustrate and please you. In the software section is where Apple was leaving more broken hearts lately, but just a few moments with the iPhone X in your hands are worth to know that they still have the best mobile software engineers in their ranks.

In short, I have personally come across the best phone we've ever reviewed here so far, a phone ahead of its time, and as such, it can't be to everyone's liking. Faced with my answer about whether I will end up acquiring it or not, my gesture twists, even I still have a lot to think about it.
