Previously, we must make a small comparison of what we would obtain now with what we did previously; By using a command window and certain instructions, in a very easy way we achieve make a folder become invisible environment, something that nobody will be able to discover if the same commands are not executed again with the correct switches. This could be a small problem for those who want to make this folder visible or invisible, because every time the operation needs to be performed, it will be necessary to call the "command prompt". Now, if we use Secret Disk, the procedure could be limited to having to write a specific password that we will define.
The first thing we will have to do is enter to the official website of Secret Disk to download the free version proposed by its developer. Once this is done, we will have the possibility of installing the tool in the language we want, due to the fact that there is support for a large number of them. After we run it for the first time (after installation), a window very similar to the one we will propose below will open.
Alli we will be asked to have to set a password; It is necessary to fill in the fields and be sure that we have written the password perfectly well. To hide this virtual disk again (in our case we have used drive letter X :), you will have to run Secret Disk again and press the button «Block«.
As you can admire, Secret Disk is an excellent alternative if we want keep our data and personal information safe in a virtual drive inside the computer, something that nobody will be able to decipher in no time. Assuming the computer is stolen, whoever explores My Computer will not find our virtual hard drive that is password protected.
