Kindle Voyage, a perfect eReader with an unattractive price

In it we will offer you a large amount of information about the Voyage, many images so that you can appreciate its careful design and also our opinion about this device of which we can already say that it borders on perfection, but that if at a perhaps too high price.

Design, the cornerstone of this Kindle Voyage

If for one thing this Kindle Voyage stands out, it is above all design, because in the end with this device we can do almost the same as with others such as the Kindle Paperwhite or any of the Kobo devices. However, what we will not find in other devices of this type, is with total security the careful design that it offers us with finishes in premium materials such as magnesium.

In addition to the use of high quality materials, it has also been made to look beautiful and also have a pleasant touch in the hand. As soon as you hold this Kindle Voyage in your hands, you quickly realize that you don't have just any gadget in your hands.

With a size of 6 inches, similar to that offered by other devices on the market, and a resolution of 300 dpi, the Voyaga screen occupies much of the front of the eReader and offers a more than interesting experience.

In addition, one of the great novelties that this new Amazon eReader presents is the possibility of regulating the brightness automatically depending on the light that is in the place where we are ready to read. After trying it I can tell you that this auto brightness mode works quite well, although depending on each one, it may be that you select too bright and it is preferable to select manually.

Hardware and Battery

This new Amazon Kindle has improved in almost every way compared to its predecessors and one of the examples of this is the new processing that mounts inside, more powerful, with a speed of 1 GHz and that allows you to enjoy even more digital reading. Supported by a 1 GB RAM memory makes this Voyage one of the most powerful electronic books on the market.

The internal storage space of this device is not too high, 4 GB, but more than enough to store a huge library of books in digital format. This time We will not be able to expand this space using microSD cards since it does not offer the option. On the contrary, and in the case of needing more space, we can always make use of one of the cloud storage services that today number in the dozens, including Amazon's own.

As for the battery, which is not usually a problem in this type of device unlike for example mobile devices, this Kindle Voyage offers us a range of several weeks, although it depends very much on each user since in this type of electronic books with integrated light autonomy will depend on the degree of lighting that we use.

Perhaps one user can achieve autonomy for several months and another user who reads several hours a day and always with the light on, may not achieve a battery life of more than two weeks.

Our assessment is that the battery of the Kindle Voyage is up to the task and is that after squeezing it for several days we have achieved an autonomy of almost 3 weeks.

Device handling and options

This Kindle Voyage it is very simple to use and does not pose any difficulty for any user since it is certainly easy to handle even though a device of this type has never been used.

As for the options offered by this eReader, it is almost no different from other devices of this type. We can change the size of the font, the font itself or take notes, as well as look for any word whose meaning we do not understand in the dictionary.

My take on the Kindle Voyage

After testing this Kindle Voyage for several weeks, my opinion cannot be more than positive, and it is that together with the premium design of this device, which in my case I do not care because I always carry my eReader in a case that prevents it from being seen , its power, resolution and sharpness of the screen allow you to enjoy digital reading in a way that is difficult to match.

I will explain it in the next section, but If someone were to ask me which eReader to buy, I think I would definitely recommend this Kindle Voyage, if you don't mind spending the money this Kindle is worth (189.99 euros in its most basic model).

Is it worth buying a Kindle Voyage?

This question has a certainly complicated answer And is that if we look only at the specifications, functions and options that this Kindle Voyage offers us, the answer would be a resounding yes. Unfortunately with the purchase of any technological device the price comes into play, which in the case of this eReader is clearly too high.

And it is that despite the fact that it has a great design and enormous power and specifications, there is not so much difference with other devices of this type, which have a much lower price. If you have money to spare or don't mind spending it on an eReader that you will use and enjoy for years to come, a Kindle Voyage is well worth buying. However, if you do not have money to spare and you are not going to use the e-book too much, without a doubt your choice should be another device.

Esto You must not forget that it is only my opinion and that each one should value what they want and need, and especially how much money they have to spend. Many of you will not hesitate when acquiring this eReader and surely others will not even consider the possibility of acquiring a Kindle Voyage.
