The LG G6 will put aside the modules that we saw in the current LG G5

LG G5

It is true that when LG's new model, the G5, was presented this year at the MWC in Barcelona, we realized that the brand was making too radical a turn in terms of design and taking a significant risk in a device that, although true We liked it a lot once we tried it, the cons were too many and this has been reflected in the sales figures. The LG G5 is an interesting device and that moved away from the rest of the terminals that the firm had launched to date, now it seems that the next LG model that will be presented at the same Mobile World Congress in 2017 will leave out the modules.

This is undoubtedly a clear example that the G5 has not achieved its niche among users and seeing that other manufacturers have been ahead of it in annual sales (a little more than even before) the company will turn the course of its flagship again to focus on a compact phone without the "friends".

An added problem to the issue of modules is that they are sold separately and these are not exactly cheap. In addition, having a device that can be disassembled no matter how well you do it will always tend to break over time, since there are too many occasions when you put and remove the accessory. Definitely the idea was good as well as very risky being the star terminal of the firm and it seems that it did not help them too much.

Another problem is that Samsung has done very well with its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, something that has undoubtedly reduced sales to the LG device. In general, little or nothing is still known about the next LG device, but what does seem to be clear and almost confirmed is that it will not be a modular smartphone.
