Flip phones are more alive than ever

If you are one of the oldest in the place, and the occasional shell or folding phone has passed through your hands, surely every time a new phone of this type is announced you will remember the feeling that invaded you every time you used it to receive or hang up a call. Clap! It was cool.

Asia is a market with many millions of users, and folding phones are still the order of the day, not as much as smartphones without physical keys, but they have a significant share of the market. Samsung knows this and from time to time launches a new model. Today we talk about the Samsung Folder 2.

The Samsung Folder 2, being a folding phone, does not offer a small, 3,8-inch screen. It is managed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with quad cores at 1,4 Ghz, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. Just below the screen it offers us four dedicated buttons with which we can open the camera, send a text message, check the emails received and open the contacts to make a call.

Inside the device we find 16 GB of storage and 1.950 mAh of battery. The front camera is 5 mpx while the rear camera is 8 mpx. The Screen resolution is 800 × 480 and is powered by Android Marshmallow. The price of this terminal that is already on the market is about 240 euros to change.

But if you intend to get hold of it, the only option you will have is travel to asian countries where it is available, since outside of these, the demand is so low that it does not rent for the company to sell them outside of this region. From time to time Samsung offers this terminal in the United States, where the fashion for this type of terminal was very strong thanks to Motorola Razr, a device that sold like hotcakes when it hit the market, so if you plan to travel there, maybe you can get it.
