We are facing a terminal that does not disappoint. It is a mid-range with high performance, which caters to consumers who care about issues like battery life and photo quality.

This model follows the style and composition of the rest of the phones Mid-range Nokia Lumia. We find a rectangular device and slightly rounded edges. The phone has dimensions of 139,4 x 70,7 x 8,5 mm and a weight of 150 grams. This is a department that Microsoft has never cared about: the company prefers to make bulkier phones, but offer a a higher battery time.
Technical specifications
As we anticipated, the Nokia Lumia 830 is not far behind in technical specifications, despite being a fairly affordable phone for our pockets.
We begin by talking about the disadvantages: screen, 5 inches, does not come to offer a Full HD resolution at 1080p: it stays at 720 pixels. The positive of this is that our battery will last longer, so it will not become an issue for some. The other downside is the processorA somewhat dated Snapdragon 400, but in our use of the phone we have not detected problems with the processor. The phone equips 1GB of RAM memory.
Points positives: the 2.200 mAh battery, its 16GB of storage with a microSD card reader to expand them up to 128GB and, how could it be otherwise, its camera.

Microsoft never disappoints in the camera department. This device is capable of taking high resolution photos, despite being in low light scenes, thanks to its 10 megapixel lens and the incorporation of PureView technology. In the phone interface we will find all the characteristic tools of Microsoft cameras that will help us control even the smallest photographic detail. This phone is capable of recording video in 4K quality and includes options such as the Lumia Cinematograph application.
The rear camera integrates an image stabilizer with the Zeiss optics, something rare to see in a Microsoft phone of this range.
Windows Phone and Cortana
The Nokia Lumia 830 integrates, by default, Windows Phone 8.1; an intuitive ecosystem that makes the most of the idea of live tiles or applications whose icons allow us to know notifications instantly. An operating system that some like, but others dislike because of its simplicity in certain sections. In addition, the Windows application store lacks an extensive catalog, since developers prefer to opt for the other two platforms where they generate more income: Android and iOS.
But one of the most attractive sections of the Lumia ecosystem is that the Cortana personal assistant now fully compatible with the Fitbit quantizer bracelet. By talking, Cortana and Fitbit will be able to collect data on what you ate today, for example, or the physical activity you have done.
