OnePlus 8 Pro

Despite the pandemic, smartphone manufacturers continue to present their bets for 2020, a year that is likely to be one of the worst in terms of sales figures of the modern era, since smartphones hit the market, even more so considering that the price of most smartphones is increasing.

The last manufacturer that has presented its bet for 2020 is OnePlus, a manufacturer that in recent years has achieved gain a foothold in the market, increasing its prices exponentially and leaving aside the customer base with which it has reached where it is.

The new terminals for the coming months of the Asian manufacturer OnePlus, are the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T, natural successors (in terms of nomenclature) of what it offered us so far. The metal and glass are the materials used throughout the device, materials that have become synonymous with high-end, where OnePlus wants to make a niche where Samsung and Apple reign.

However, people who are willing to spend the more than 1.000 euros that the most expensive OnePlus 8 Pro costs, you are unlikely to choose this manufacturerYou will prefer to spend the money on the two companies that have been on the market the longest and that offer you a guarantee that you cannot find in other companies, be it OnePlus or Xiaomi (which also offers a terminal of more than 1.000 euros).

Both terminals, both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro are managed by the Snapdragon 865, a processor that incorporates the 5G chipTherefore, both terminals are compatible with this type of network, although its implementation throughout the world is still very limited in some areas of some large cities.

OnePlus 8

The main novelty of this terminal is the incorporation of the wireless charging, a charging system that has been available in all high-end terminals for several years, but that OnePlus had not wanted to implement until they could improve its charging power, something that they have finally achieved, but that must be paid for separately.

OnePlus has presented its fast wireless charger, the OnePlus WarP Charge 30, a charger that offers a wireless charging power of 30w and is priced at 66 euros. In particular, I have never understood the need to quickly charge the phone when we have all night to do it. For sporadic cases it is fine, but the only thing that is continuously achieved is to reduce the battery life.

OnePlus 8

We start with the input terminal, the OnePlus 8, a terminal with a screen of 6,55-inch Super AMOLED with FullHD + resolution (2.440 × 1.080), compatible with HDR10 + and a refresh rate of 90HZ (same as the previous OnePlus range).

This model, like the Pro, is managed by the Snapdragon 865, a processor that integrates a 5G chip, so you are ready to take advantage of the new mobile networks that are beginning to be deployed around the world, but whose current presence is hardly residual.

OnePlus 8

This model is available in two models of storage and memory. On the one hand we find the model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (input model) and on the other the model managed by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. In both models, the RAM is type LPDDR5 and the storage UFS 3.0.

In the photographic section, we find a 16 mpx front camera, and three rear ones. The main lens of the rear camera set reaches 48 mpx and is accompanied by a 16 mpx wide angle and a 2 mpx macro. The battery reaches 4.300 mAh and is compatible with fast charging both wired and wireless.
