PayPal teams up with Samsung Pay as a payment system

Samsung Pay

The guys at PayPal, a company founded by Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is moving the tab in recent months to try to reach a greater number of potential customers and not remain a shadow of eBay, a company from which he dissociated himself ago some years. A few days ago, Apple added PayPal as a payment support on the platform of the guys from the Cupertino-based company. But it seems that it has not been the only one with which PayPal has been negotiating in recent months, since Samsung's electronic payment system, Samsung Pay will be compatible with PayPal. But for now this association will only be available in the United States.

It is increasingly common to see how users make use of the smartphone to pay for their purchases without having to use a credit card or cash, which allows us to leave only with the keys and the smartphone to make the purchase. But Each service works with a different bank, which makes this type of service complicated and cumbersome. and not very useful for many people. Thanks to this association, any PayPal user with a Samsung terminal will be able to use Samsung Pay regardless of the bank they use, something that Apple Pay cannot currently and does not seem to allow.

As I have said above, for now it will only be available in the United States, but the company signs that over time this service will expand and reach more countries. Spain was the first European country to receive Samsung Pay, so It would not be unreasonable to think that the next country where this option may be available is Spain. Surely Samsung Pay will not be the only electronic payment service to use PayPal to expand its service and it is very likely that soon Android Pay will also announce an agreement of this type to further enhance its service, especially in the United States.
