Pokémon Go beats Facebook in usage times

Pokemon Go

During the last days we are suffering a true pokemania, a revolution that has reached our phones. But it seems that it has not only affected the battery or the data of our smartphone but it has also affected the social networks or used apps.

Being Pokémon Go the most used app on our smartphone. At least according to Tower Sensor, Pokémon Go is the app we use the longest, far above Facebook, which, although it is still one of the most used, is not the one with which users spend the most time. According to the Sensor Tower report, Pokémon Go is a game with which mobile users they spend an average of 30 minutes a day, an average that beats the Facebook average of 22 minutes a day. The rest of the applications have an average of 18 minutes in the case of Snapchat and 17 minutes on average in the case of Twitter.

Users spend more time using Pokémon Go than Facebook

Even so, these data are not very conclusive because on the one hand it must be taken into account that Pokémon Go is still unstable and needs several updates and on the other hand, the study corresponds to the use of one week in the case of Pokémon Go and several months in the case of social networks. So the pokemani may not last long or at least not as long as the fever of social networks. In any case, many companies are suffering from pokemania, companies like Microsoft that already want their Pokémon app. So it seems that this fashion or this fever will last a little more than a week, although Will the summer months pass?

In any case, it is still peculiar that a simple augmented reality app like Pokémon Go has surpassed apps like Snapchat, Facebook or Twitter.
