Photographic section
One of the most important sections for users when deciding on one mobile or another is the photographic section. The new Doogge S98 Pro incorporates a 48 MP main camera made by Sony which uses IMX582 sensor.
Next to the main chamber, we find a night vision camera, with another sensor manufactured by Sony (IMX 350) and that reaches a resolution of 20 MP.
Furthermore, as I mentioned at the beginning of this article, the Doogee S98 Pro includes an additional camera with a thermal sensor, ideal for check the temperature of areas or objects in our environment.
According to the manufacturer, it uses the InfiRay sensor, a sensor that offers more than double thermal resolution than any other sensor on the market.
It has a high frame rate of 25 Hz that guarantees a greater precision and detail in the captures that help to detect humidity, high temperatures, operating problems...
It includes the Dual Spectrum Fusion algorithm that allows combine the images from the thermal camera with images from the main camera. This allows the user to find exactly the source of the problem without trying to find out by analyzing the infrared image.
If we talk about the frontal camera, this time, the Doogee guys have relied on the manufacturer Samsung, with the 5 MP S3K9P16SP sensor, camera located in the upper central part of the screen.
Power of the Doogee S98
To manage the entire device, Doogee has relied on the manufacturer MediaTek with the G96 processor, an 8-core process at 2,05 GHz, so we can also use it to play games without problems.
Along with the G96 processor, we find 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. If that falls short, you can expand the storage space up to 512 GB using a microSD card.
FullHD+ screen
As powerful as the device is, if it does not incorporate a quality screen, it is useless. The Doogee S98 Pro includes a 6,3-inch screen with FullHD + resolution, LCD type and protected with Corninig Gorilla Glass technology.
Battery for several days
Depending on the use we make of the device, a 6.000 mAh battery, we can go a couple of days without going near a charger. And, when we have to, we can quickly charge it by supporting 33W fast charging using the USB-C cable.
But, if we are not in a hurry to load, and we prefer to use a database wireless charging, this function is also available, although at a lower power, since it is only compatible with 15W.
Other characteristics
In addition to the power and the photographic section, a smartphone without an NFC chip currently does not make much sense. The Doogee S98 Pro includes a chip NFC with which, through Google Pay, we can make payments comfortably from our smartphone.
Regarding security, the Doogee S98 Pro includes a system of fingerprint recognition on power button, so every time we access it, when we press the button, it will automatically be unlocked without realizing it.
It is compatible with GPS, Galileo, BeiDou and Glonass navigation satellites. In addition, it includes IP68, IP69K and military MIL-STD-810H certification.
