We analyze in depth the new Realme GT, a device that calls itself "flagship killer", we tell you all its features and if it can really be positioned as an alternative to the high-end at prices that more closely resemble the mid-range. Do not miss it.
As it happens on other occasions, we have decided to accompany this in-depth analysis with a video that leads the post. In the video you will be able to find among other things the complete unboxing of this Realme GT, thus proof of the quality of the cameras in real recording. You will help us to continue growing if you subscribe, take advantage of the comment box to leave us any questions you have, and leave us a like if you liked it.
Materials and design
The device has a frame made of plastic, the reason for this may be the lightness, however, the reality is that it represents a significant cost saving if what you want is to adjust the price of the device as much as possible. Similarly, in Spain we can only buy two versions: The plastic back in blue, or the hybrid back with vegan leather and plastic. The vegan leather is extraordinarily well made, does not thicken the device and appears resistant. I do not know how it will survive the passage of time, however, Realme includes a silicone case in the box.
We have dimensions of 158 x 73 x 8,4 for a very light weight of only 186 grams, something that surprises considering a panel of almost 6,5 inches. We have freckle on the front left, where the camera will be located. Bottom bezel for the USB-C, the main speaker and a 3,5mm jack. Plastic has a special attraction for fingerprints, nothing that surprises us. In the hand, the yellow version built in vegan leather is spectacular, an interesting twist that generates mixed feelings when I discover that the frame is made of plastic
Technical Specifications
I have really decided to bet on him Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G, proven power, accompanied by two versions of between 8 and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM high speed, something that culminates with memories UFS 3.1, also of maximum speed, which will alternate between the 128GB and 256GB depending on the version chosen.

Multimedia experience
We have a panel Nearly 6,5-inch SuperAMOLED offering a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, It comes accompanied by a rate of 120 Hz that we can modify to conserve battery, although by default an "automatic" mode is activated that will take care of itself. The use of the screen is close to 92% and in this aspect the Realme GT is quite well achieved in this aspect despite having the classic burr on the bottom. The refresh rate for the touch panel is 360 Hz so in this aspect the experience is very good in daily interaction.
The sound is "stereo." It has the front speaker and the one with the upper bezel, the latter being noticeably more powerful and clearer than the previous one. Regardless, they offer a relatively good stereo experience with this in mind, a well-tuned sound. The panel, also well adjusted in terms of colors and brightness, offers blacks not as pure as you would expect from a panel super AMOLED, the least in especially high brightness. We have a totally flat panel.
Autonomy and photography
The device mounts 4.500 mAh with a fast charge that Realme borrows from Oppo, we have 65W with a SuperDart charger which is included in the box. This allows us to move from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes. Undoubtedly we have autonomy and fast charging that do directly overshadow the high-end, until you realize that we lack Qi wireless charging, along with the manufacturing materials, the reminder that it is not a "premium" device , nor does it pretend to be.
- We have reversible OTG USBC charging
As for photography, these are the sensors that the device mounts
- Sony IMX682 main sensor with 64MP and f / 1.9 aperture of six pieces
- 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Sensor with five-piece f / 2.3 aperture
- 2MP Macro sensor with three-piece f / 2.4 aperture
In standard photography and 64MP photography we found a good fit, it does not suffer with contrasts, the HDR does its job well and shows a quite natural image. A good definition that defends itself even in night conditions with the factory setting.
The Ultra Wide Angle Camera it suffers much more from contrasts and offers oversaturation of colors in many circumstances. At night it offers an excess of "watercolor" due to the processing of photography. For its part, the Macro lens it does its job as long as the lighting conditions are good. Photography in Mode Picture it complies, without surprise, with the advantage that it allows us to modify how much Bokeh is included.
Regarding video recording we have surprisingly good stabilization with the main sensor, excess software and "vibrations" that clutter the image in the other sensors. Despite this, with low lighting I would even say that I was surprised by the result.
The front camera offers 16MP with an excess of "beauty mode" rendering even at its lowest setting. It offers a good result considering the characteristics of the camera. Definitely the photographic section is not the most splendid of the terminal, placing it in a mid-range.
