Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum, a robot vacuum cleaner with excellent quality / price

Realme lately has a surprising release schedule, recently we showed you its latest upper-mid-range device, the Realme GT, which has been the delight of many users. At the same time we have been able to see even smart watches. However, the product that we bring you today is perhaps something you did not expect, a robot vacuum cleaner.

Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum is the latest launch of the brand, a robot vacuum cleaner that surprises with its performance / price ratioDoes it really offer us such good features? We analyze in depth this Realme robot vacuum cleaner and all its features in detail, find out with us.

As almost always, we have included a video at the top about our channel of YouTube in which you will be able to observe the complete unboxing of this Realme robot vacuum cleaner as well as its cleaning and sound tests. Take the opportunity to subscribe to our channel YouTube and leave us any questions.

Materials and design, classics never fail

The official name is Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum, but honestly, for the rest of the review we are going to call it the Realme robot vacuum cleaner for economy in reading. This device is made of various plastic materials, as you might expect. We are talking about a rather large product, It is 35 centimeters in diameter and 10 centimeters high, It is not the most compact on the market but honestly, the size is enough.

The upper part is crowned by the cyclone system, a jet-black plane qIt will be a dust magnet (a hobby of many robot vacuum cleaner companies that I can't quite understand) and two buttons, the one for the charging base and the ON / OFF button. Sober but pretty, let's face it, it looks good almost anywhere. It is made of plastic and the total weight is around 3,3 kilograms in total.

At the bottom we find two arms with cleaning brushes that will direct the dirt to the absorption zone, the «idler» wheel that is in charge of keeping the device in front, the two cushioned wheels to overcome obstacles of approximately two centimeters, the suction zone with the brush mixed and a glimpse of the tank.

Tank and cleaning systems

We found a deposit of 600 ml solids For the version that only includes aspiration, if we purchase (separately) the scrubbing pack this deposit will be reduced to 350ml. ANDThe brush in charge of absorption is mixed, we have rubber blades that I think are the most efficient version, and nylon bristles that will help us obtain a more uniform result. For the maintenance of this brush and the rest of the accessories in general, a universal tool is included in the package.

The two side brushes help to direct the dirt, so the cleaning effect is slightly higher than that of those robots that only have one. It has an easy replacement HEPA filter in the package, however, we do not include spare side or central brushes, We will have to acquire them at the usual points of sale (we do not know the price of the spare parts at the time of analysis).

Withdrawing the deposit is easy, the rear part has a small "button" that when pressed will allow us to extract the solids tank. The same happens with emptying or changing the HEPA filter, which by the way, has a fairly efficient mesh pre-filter.

Charging base, autonomy and application

As for the charging base, I have to say that I have found the first positive detail. This base has a standard size and design, but an advantage that other brands seem to forget. It has a cable collection system at the bottom that will allow us to integrate the power connector without protruding, with two side outlets so that we do not have problems in selecting the location of the charging base, this undoubtedly for a server that tests a couple of these a month, it is something very favorable.

For the rest, the Realme robot easily finds the charging station, it may have a slow problem the first time, but once it is located on the map it will be a piece of cake. The total charging time will be around two hours for its 5.200 mAh that provide us with cleaning above 80 minutes on average.

The Realme Link app (Android / iOS) reminds us of Roborock, which on the other hand, is one of the best in the market, so the experience is totally favorable, we recommend that you take a look at the video in which we show you all the configuration step by step and especially you will be able to see the tests of the different tests.

Suction power and cleaning experience

We have a maximum suction power of 3.000 Pa, However, we are going to differentiate between up to four cleaning modes available in the application:

  • Silent: 500 Pa
  • Normal: 1.200 Pa
  • Turbo: 2.500 Pa
  • Maximum: 3.000 Pa

A daily cleaning will be more than enough with the mode Normal, However, if we are looking for a result that attracts our attention, we will choose the mode Turbo. The maximum mode is still exceeded in terms of noise, where the minimum will be 55 dB.

The experience has been especially favorable with mapping, which is fast and takes around 40 minutes for a 72 square meter floor. It is demanding and offers cleaning results that easily match devices that cost a few hundred dollars more.

  • Compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant
  • 2,4 GHz WiFi
  • LiDAR navigation system

I highlight the following functionalities of the application:

  • Possibility of limiting areas of the map and specific rooms
  • Automatically adjust the suction based on the type of soil detected

Personally I have not been able to adjust the language to Spanish, so I have had to settle for the fact that the vacuum cleaner speaks English with an Asian accent. I was surprised that it is less "delicate" with obstacles than an even more expensive one, It tends to fit between the legs of chairs and even under elevated sofas, something that has pleasantly surprised me.

The Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum costs only 379 euros, although at the moment we can only buy it on AliExpress with certain offers (be careful with customs) or the Realme website. A price that stands out for being between 50/100 euros lower than other alternatives that offer similar results.
