If last year you finally wanted to renew your old Note, this year all you have to do is wait because, once confirmed that the South Korean company Samsung to launch a new Galaxy Note 8 and that it is already working on it at full capacity, now new details about the next terminal have been revealed to us.
The information comes to us from the well-known “leaker” Evan Blass who has taken advantage of the great loudspeaker that is his profile on Twitter to announce informally that Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 will arrive a little later, in September, and at a price of about a thousand euros. But be still !, as he said, "do not go yet, there is still more."
The jump to the Galaxy Note 8
Last year, the technology giant Samsung decided to jump an Olympic numbering by launching the Galaxy Note 7 in the middle of summer. And it seems that it must have gained too much momentum for that jump because the failure was of historical magnitude.
Shortly after its launch in countries like the United States and South Korea, its homeland, some users began reporting strange cases of explosions and flash fires that left the terminal engulfed in flames, made a jumble of components, and that, on occasions, even affected other properties: vehicles, homes ... The cases multiplied and the company announced the suspension and withdrawal of the terminals, which would be replaced for new ones and without problems. Said and done however, it is already known that the rush is not good and in the second shipment the problem persisted. The authorities got to work and the Galaxy Note 7 was even banned on commercial flights due to its potential risk to public safety. Finally, Samsung was forced to suspend its manufacture and marketing for the second time, now, permanently.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had died, but not the Galaxy Note series. On the one hand, at the beginning of this year it was confirmed that Samsung will launch some units "refurbished" of the Galaxy Note 7 in countries like South Korea at a price lower by approximately 25%, something that, by the way, is about to happen. The objective was twofold: to contribute to the maintenance of the environment by releasing components that were stored without knowing very well what to do with them, and to recover part of the investment made in the failed terminal.
And from somewhere else, Samsung began working on the natural successor to the "explosive" terminal, the Galaxy Note 8,Of which we now know some additional details thanks to the filtration made by Evan Blass through his Twitter profile @ Evleaks.
What we know about the next Galaxy Note 8
As many users would already assume, the next Galaxy Note 8 will inherit some of the features that we are already seeing in the successful Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. The most striking thing will be the adoption of that concept of screen "Infinity Display", a great double curvature AMOLED panel on its sides that would have a size of 6,3 inches and 18,5: 9 aspect ratio.
However, the Galaxy Note 8 will be, as before, a terminal with its own identity and therefore, despite its resemblance to the S8 and S8 Plus, it will also try to distance itself from them, and not only by integrating the already popular S Pen , but also through specifications such as a dual camera with 12 megapixel sonors and optical stabilization. Next to them will be the flash and to the right of it, the fingerprint sensor. This would be the way to end the "controversy" caused by the location of the fingerprint reader in the S8 series.
Inside, we will find a really powerful terminal with very good performance thanks to the fact that it will integrate them Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processors (depends on the market we are in), although RAM memory would be increased to 6 GB. And all this supported by a 3.300 mAh battery.
It will also incorporate the Bixby virtual assistant and its launch will take place somewhat later than could be expected, sometime in September, with the main purpose of standing up to the new iPhone model, which will also be released on those dates, which is why its price would be 999 euros, thus giving them a greater nuance of premium device.
Of course, none of this is official, however, Blass's track record of success invites us to take his information more than seriously.
